ABOUT TIBET HERITAGE FOUNDATION
Tibet Heritage Foundation is an initiative from 'Friends of Tibet', a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation established in 1999. The Foundation’s mission is to support conservation and promotion of Tibet's tangible and intangible heritage including healing traditions. 'Men-Tsee-Khang', Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute of HH the Dalai Lama and 'Sylviander House' are associates in this collective initiative.

The primary objective of Friends of Tibet [Research] is to conduct and publish research on the unique heritage, legacy and history of Tibet, before and after Chinese occupation. Our research also focuses on Tibet's traditions, ecology, art, literature, medical, spiritual and other contributions to the World as a whole. Friends of Tibet [Research] co-ordinates, executes and produces varied researches with the collaboration of scholars, academicians, scientists, sociologists and holistic health educationists.

The Wellbeing programme is a philanthropic initiative of Friends of Tibet, begun from Mumbai in 1999 in association with Men-Tsee-Khang, Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute of HH the Dalai Lama. This collaborative project continues to serve masses by conducting regular medical camps in Mumbai and Kerala for the past two decades. Men-Tsee-Khang, the charitable, cultural and educational institution of HH the Dalai Lama bring the healing traditions of Tibet, known world over as 'Sowa Rigpa' (Science of Healing) is a synthesis of centuries old Asian medical disciplines including holistic Ayurveda. Integratedly trained and experienced Tibetan doctors offer their service to all Wellbeing seekers at the Tibet Heritage Foundation, Alappuzha, Kerala.
